Sumer 27
Bronze was the third most widely used metal in ancient times, after gold and silver. The Sumerians started using bronze around 3000 BC to make jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Bronze jewelry was often decorated with geometric patterns.
Anatolian artisans have widely used the technique of tying rags to jewelry. In this technique, pieces of fabric in different colors and patterns are tied to jewelry using cords or ropes, adding aesthetic value to the pieces.
This bracelet is made from bronze with a rag tied to it, using traditional techniques.
Each OTTHEOSUFI product is handcrafted by its designer, who trained as an artisan in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, using wax, making each piece unique. This process gives the product its authentic antique beauty. Each design has a unique story. Every pendant is hand-carved, assembled, and slightly unique.
