Gyges
This unique necklace is made of a handmade sterling silver coin pendant. The chain part consists of hand-cut lapis lazuli.
According to Herodotus' records, Gyges was a shepherd in the service of King Candaules. Legend says that he discovered the body of a giant in a cave opened by an earthquake, and this giant possessed a ring that granted him the power of invisibility. After using the ring to spy on the king's wife, Gyges's situation became complicated. With the help of the queen, he killed King Candaules and took the throne for himself.
Throughout history, amulets have held significant importance in people's daily lives. They have often been carried for comfort and reassurance.
