Sardes
This unique necklace is made of a handmade sterling silver coin pendant. The chain part consists of handmade cut lapis lazuli.
This necklace takes its name from Sardes. According to some legends, Sardes was the son or grandson of Heracles. One tale recounts that Sardes discovered a silver mine at the foot of Mount Tmolos, leading to the prosperity of the Lydian Kingdom. Sardes derived its name from this mine. Midas, known for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold, is also said to be the son or grandson of Sardes.
Throughout history, amulets have held significant importance in people's daily lives. They have often been carried for comfort and reassurance.
