Urartu10
This necklace features a hand-carved cameo in lapis lazuli, elegantly set in hand-molded sterling silver with a silver chain.
The Urartu Kingdom, which ruled Eastern Anatolia from the 9th to the 6th century BC, placed great importance on talismans and amulets. These items were believed to offer protection and were often adorned with animal figures like lions, bulls, and eagles, symbolizing strength and courage. Images of Urartian gods such as Haldi, Teisheba, and Shivini were also featured, thought to provide power and protection.
Each OTTHEOSUFI product is handcrafted by its designer, who trained as an artisan in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, using wax, making each piece unique. This process gives the product its authentic antique beauty. Each design has a unique story. Every pendant is hand-carved, assembled, and slightly unique. These are limited edition items, and once sold out, they will not return.
