The cameo technique on this necklace is hand-carved in red carnelian, set in hand-molded sterling silver with a silver chain.

The Urartu Kingdom ruled in Eastern Anatolia from the 9th to the 6th century BC, and the Urartians placed great importance on talismans and amulets. These items were believed to offer protection from diseases and enemies. Animal figures such as lions, bulls, and eagles were commonly depicted in Urartian amulets, symbolizing strength and courage. Images of Urartian gods like Haldi, Teisheba, and Shivini were also used, believed to impart power and protection to the wearer.

Talismans have held significance in people's lives, often viewed as sources of spiritual strength and support. Throughout history, amulets have been carried for protection and healing.

Each OTHEOSUFI product is handcrafted by its designer, who trained as an artisan in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, using wax, making each piece unique. This process gives the product its authentic antique beauty. Each design has a unique story. Every pendant is hand-carved, assembled, and slightly unique. These are limited edition items, and once sold out, they will not return.
